Eva’s project for the second quarter of 2018 was pretty low key. A photo of her dog bling, Handing out in the kitchen, riding the paddle board and catching some zzz’s while either consolidating or making memories. She does lead a good life.
Dog Bling
Eva sporting her heart shaped dog tag. She literally does wear her heart on her chest. A companion shot to go with one of Aggie in her dog bling from earlier in the year (linked here). Eva is not the fluffiest of our pups, but her hair is silky smooth like no other dog that I’ve ever met.
And the heart shaped connection to her collar is actually a tag clip that I found on amazon. It’s called a Rubit Heart shaped switch clip. We had multiple fails and lost tags with the more traditional key-ring type connectors, but these have yet to fail us. It’s also on a quick release in case people want to switch the tag to another collar.
Just Hanging Out Looking Scruffy
A simple low point of view shot of Eva lounging on the window seat in the kitchen. She was leaving the back yard supervision duties to Agnes and just hanging out looking scruffy. She received her summer shave down a week or so after this shot.
The Appraiser
Eva spends a lot of time observing, and appraising situations, birds and people. Sometimes I think she’s judging people as well.
Eva in her spot at the end of the paddle board. She was just checking out the cabins and people as I paddled by. Such a cute hood ornament.
Making Memories
Eva crashed out at the cabin. I came into this area of the cabin and loved how cozy she looked with her head on the afghan made by my wife’s Aunt Gusta. I had originally framed this horizontally, but switched it to horizontal to include the wall of photos and the making memories sign. End of the day I like this version better as it implies more of a story.
